Recently, I’ve been getting a bit fed up with doing tasks on these platforms—it’s starting to feel more and more like “going to work” just to scrape rewards: clocking in, filling out forms, taking screenshots, and even having to worry about whether you’ll be flagged for bot detection. In the end, you’re given a score—like a performance review. Straight to the point: everyone wants to prevent cheating, but once everything is handled with a one-size-fits-all rule, even people who do things seriously start to feel anxious. I’m clearly here to pick up a cheap deal and learn along the way, yet every day I’m worrying, “Will this move of mine get me deducted?…”
What I don’t regret is this: in a bear market, treating these processes as material for a review, at least figuring out what kind of people the project is trying to filter out, and also tidying up the on-chain traces so they’re cleaner. Lately, haven’t people also been arguing about miner/validator income, MEV, and whether transaction ordering is fair? It feels like the same flavor to me—when the rules get more complicated, ordinary people end up looking like they’re passively cooperating. Anyway, that’s what I’m doing now: slow down a bit, chase fewer hot topics, and keep more evidence. For now, that’s it.
