Everyone understands this: the staking/sharing security setup is the easiest way to turn the “illusion of yield stacking” into the idea that “security has been stacked too.”
These past few days, I’ve been watching charts of block production delay. Every now and then, a reorg lasting one or two segments can return some “solid-looking” things to their original form. When the underlying layer wobbles, everything on top wobbles with it—risk isn’t additive; it’s contagious.
In the group, people are also circulating screenshots about stablecoin regulation, reserve audits, and de-pegging rumors. I look at them and feel like laughing, but also a bit annoyed—because the same crowd is both afraid of de-pegging and, at the same time, treating a pile of promises as if they were cash flow.
Anyway, I’d rather earn a little less now and split up my exposure. Otherwise, if something really goes wrong one day, I won’t even know where the trouble started—or where the “pot” came from.
For now, that’s it.
