Polymarket suspects that competitor Kalshi is involved in corporate espionage and has compiled an internal document titled "copycat," which records about a dozen cases of suspected products, marketing activities, and interface designs being imitated or preemptively launched. Polymarket market director Matthew Modabber said, "There are too many coincidences," including cases such as the New York free grocery pop-up event and perpetual contract products. Kalshi denies the allegations, calling them "almost delusional," and states it will continue to develop its products; Kalshi's investor Paradigm also denies monitoring Polymarket's office.
