The U.S. House of Representatives just voted to pass a bill to tighten Trump's authority to use military force against Iran.

The vote was narrowly passed at 215:208, with even four Republicans defecting and uniting with Democrats, indicating that many within the party are opposed to continuing the conflict.
The bill stipulates that without a formal declaration of war from Congress, Trump cannot arbitrarily order U.S. military strikes against Iran or withdraw targeted hostile actions.
However, there are still two hurdles for the bill to become law: first, it must pass the Republican-controlled Senate, and even if the Senate approves, Trump can veto it with a single veto.
The news has further eased fears of Middle East conflict, causing a simultaneous retreat in crude oil and crypto safe-haven trades.
