🔹 Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang confirmed at GTC Taipei on June 1 that the Vera Rubin AI accelerator is in production and will use HBM4 memory from both Samsung and SK Hynix. The announcement triggered a 10% surge in Samsung shares, adding over 187 trillion won in market value in a single day.

🔹 The memory supercycle is accelerating. Samsung's average memory selling price surged 146% in Q1 2026 compared to the 2025 full‑year average. Goldman Sachs forecasts 326% DRAM price growth in 2026 and 283% for NAND, with memory tightness persisting into 2028.

🔹 Strategic moves extend beyond memory. Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron invested trillion‑won sums in AI company Anthropic as strategic infrastructure partners. This positions Samsung for broader collaboration in foundry and AI infrastructure, unlocking new revenue streams.

🔹 Analyst targets reflect the momentum. KB Securities raised its target to 530,000 won, eyeing a $2 trillion market cap. Susquehanna set a long‑term target of 850,000 won, placing Samsung alongside Nvidia and Apple in global valuation. Goldman lifted its 12‑month target to 480,000 won.
