AIMPACT News, May 17 (UTC+8), Google will launch a major AI feature upgrade on the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, with Android 17 arriving this summer on Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide, and Google Pixel 11 series. The new system integrates the Gemini Intelligence brand, featuring a new Agent capability that can perform multi-step tasks on behalf of users, including finding class schedules in Gmail and automatically adding books to the shopping cart, booking gym classes, or creating grocery delivery orders based on note content. The Create My Widget feature allows users to generate custom home screen widgets by describing their needs, such as countdown timers, weekly meal suggestions, or real-time package tracking. The foldable screen's multitasking capabilities are deeply integrated with AI Agent, enabling users to run two other applications simultaneously while performing AI tasks.
