These days, meme coins are insanely hot again, with the group shouting "Narrative taking off" while watching the spot/contract funding rates spike to extremes, arguing whether it's a reversal or just a bubble being squeezed. To be honest, I enjoy the spectacle, but before making a move, I think about the potential direction: first, cut my position small, and set stop-losses at the "narrative failure point"—for example, when hype drops, on-chain new wallet activity stalls, or when those pump addresses start to dump (no need to wait until the candlestick charts look ugly to admit defeat).

I trust data more; intuition is too easily swayed by emotions. Data at least reminds me: am I trading right now, or am I being led by the narrative? If it's wrong, just pull out. Missing out is fine; live to fight another day.
