A wallet listed in a New York lawsuit transferred 35.55 BTC after 15 years of silence to prove it was not abandoned.
June 3rd, the Bitcoin wallet that had been silent since 2011 suddenly transferred out 35.55 BTC (approximately $2.54 million), to prove it was not abandoned. Previously, it was a defendant in a lawsuit in New York, claiming that nearly 3.8 million dormant Bitcoins are abandoned property. At the same time, there are reports that an American man and two companies have filed ownership lawsuits over more than 39,000 dormant addresses.
