ME News Report, April 19 (UTC+8), Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, Seyyed Hatipzadeh, said on the 18th that Iran will never hand over its enriched uranium to the United States. Hatipzadeh refuted the previous statements made by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the enriched uranium issue. He stated that Iran is willing to communicate on concerns existing on both sides but will never accept unrealistic preconditions, "no enriched material will be shipped to the United States." Hatipzadeh said that due to the U.S. refusal to abandon its stance of "maximum pressure" on key issues, Iran is currently not prepared to hold a new round of face-to-face negotiations with the U.S. side. Is the uranium being sent to the United States? These conditions are indeed outrageous.

Both sides communicate their concerns; in diplomatic language, it means each side is talking past each other.
