Elon Musk: Launches a new version of the CLI tool, accessible via OpenClaw to X API

ME News Report, April 19 (UTC+8), Elon Musk quoted a user post stating that users can now access the X API through OpenClaw and expressed hope to reduce usage costs while maintaining sustainable operations.
The X API team has launched a new version of the CLI tool, integrated with SKILL.md support, allowing OpenClaw and Hermes to access the X API through this tool.
Related quoted posts indicate that starting April 20, the X platform will simultaneously adjust API pricing.
Owned Reads costs have been significantly reduced to $0.001 per request, covering 12 common endpoints such as retrieving own tweets, bookmarks, followers, likes, and lists;
The cost for regular posting has increased from $0.01 to $0.015, with posts containing URLs priced at $0.20;
Follow, like, and quote retweet functions will be removed from all self-service tiers.
