JieeWorld news reports that a shell company linked to Elon Musk has recently purchased property on the outskirts of Houston in recent weeks, suggesting it may be finalizing a location for a planned $55 billion chip fab known as terafab. The project is jointly backed by SpaceX, Tesla, and xAI, aiming to provide chip support for artificial intelligence and robotics initiatives, with total investment potentially reaching up to $119 billion. Land registration records show that a company named “Wit Tech LLC” has purchased at least 6 parcels of land in Grimes County, with a total area of over 6,000 acres (equivalent to nearly 10 square miles), and the transaction amount has not yet been disclosed.
