The Cardano Foundation has partnered with the Brazilian Olympic Committee to test blockchain, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things tools in Brazil's sports sector, focusing on athletes, coaches, federations, and fans. The four key areas are digital identity and certification, fan engagement, device tracking, and funding governance and transparency, with a three-year roadmap established. Secure digital identities and globally verifiable certifications will be provided to reduce paper records. The first implementation workshop has been held, and subsequent institutional pilots will be promoted.
