Jinmit straightforwardly said: Whether the Israeli military withdraws or not is another matter, Tehran is using Lebanon as a smokescreen for nuclear negotiations, and after the Hormuz Strait, they've shifted the battleground.

Crypto World News reports that, according to Al Jazeera, retired U.S. General Mark Kimmit stated that Israeli forces have advanced into southern Lebanon to such an extent that there may no longer be an opportunity for them to withdraw. Kimmit said that Iran's greatest concern might be the Israeli military's appearance at the important strategic point of Bofur Castle in southern Lebanon. He added that this is the furthest Israeli forces have penetrated into Lebanon in 26 years. Kimmit pointed out that former President Trump previously stated that Israel would not attack the southern suburbs of Beirut as claimed, but this development does not mean Israel has agreed to withdraw from southern Lebanon. Tehran is very likely using the situation with Hezbollah and Lebanon to "divert" international attention from its nuclear negotiations. Kimmit said Iran aims to unbalance the U.S. through strategic moves: first controlling the Strait of Hormuz, and now shifting the focus to the confrontation between Israel and Hezbollah.
