Mars Finance News, Uniswap founder Hayden Adams posted a statement expressing deep gratitude for the long-term funding and support provided by the Ethereum Foundation (EF), but specifically clarified that Uniswap was not incubated by EF, and he personally is an external beneficiary with close personal ties to EF. Previously, EF Chair Aya Miyaguchi and co-founder Vitalik Buterin publicly shared their views on the future direction of the Ethereum Foundation. Miyaguchi stated that part of the reason for proposing the EF mission framework at the end of last year was due to issues arising from deviations in technical discussions.

Hayden's clarification is quite important; many people mistakenly think Uniswap is EF's favorite child.

EF funding model indeed needs to be more transparent; the boundaries between external beneficiaries and internal projects are blurred.

The mission framework was only proposed at the end of the year, and it seems EF is also exploring how to position itself.
