The integration operates through Gate's unified crypto asset account system. Users can directly utilize USDT to participate in stock and ETF trading, eliminating the need for complex fiat on-ramps or separate brokerage accounts. For investors who maintain stablecoin positions for long-term asset management, this expansion extends USDT utility from digital asset trading into global securities allocation.
From a structural standpoint, Gate Stocks represents actual equity ownership rather than synthetic exposure.
