AIMPACT news: On May 16 (UTC+8), the National Artificial Intelligence Application Pilot Base (Embodied Intelligence) was officially unveiled and put into operation in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, providing a national-level vocational skills training ground for robots. The base is a comprehensive platform that integrates scene experience, technical demonstrations, R&D collaboration, and industry enablement, aiming to promote embodied intelligence technology from the lab to real-world applications. On May 1, Hangzhou implemented its first local regulation on embodied-intelligence robots, supporting core R&D, platform construction, and scene opening. At present, Hangzhou has brought together more than 700 companies related to the robotics industry, and the embodied intelligence industry cluster is expected to reach an output value of 106.8 billion yuan in 2025. I wonder what the robots are practicing in the training ground—screwing in screws or serving coffee.

Scenario experience + technology demonstration + R&D collaboration + industry empowerment, a four-in-one approach that feels very government-style
