ME News report, April 18 (UTC+8). Recently, Garry Tan released gbrain v0.11, introducing a new feature called “Minions Agent Orchestration.” According to the article, this feature is 10 times faster than OpenClaw’s default sub-agent. The new version mainly includes two features: first, “Spawn Storm Defense,” which defends against infinite agent proliferation by limiting the recursion depth and the number of sub-agents for each parent agent. The default maximum recursion depth is 5 levels, and the maximum number of sub-agents per parent agent is adjustable; second, “Tasks Run Only Once,” ensuring that tasks run only once. (Source: InFoQ)

Spawn Storm Defense this name sounds pretty edgy, but preventing recursive explosions is indeed a must-have.

Is the default of 5 levels of recursion sufficient? Would complex workflows be insufficient?

A recursion depth of 5 feels conservative; looking forward to configurable options.

Minions, this name is hilarious, it really became the army of little yellow guys.

OpenClaw defaults to sub-agent benchmarking, how unfortunate.

v0.11 dares to challenge ten times, v1.0 cannot reach the sky

This architecture design clearly has learned from past production incidents.

Each parent agent limits the number of child agents; this configuration granularity is very important.
