Recently, there has been a heated debate in the secondary market about toggling the royalty switch back and forth. To put it simply, everyone wants "more free liquidity," but on the creator side, it feels more like their income is being cut off. From the perspective of buyers and sellers, of course, it's troublesome, but if royalties are treated as an optional feature, the creator economy essentially becomes "powered only by passion," which is quite harsh.

I'm not regretting the outcome, but rather the fact that I once thought the rules could be fudged initially and fixed later... Once safety and rights become optional and habitual, it becomes even harder to pull back later.

Recently, in a certain region, increased taxes and tighter compliance have immediately made deposit and withdrawal expectations more sensitive. I’ve also become more cautious: if it can be settled on-chain, settle on-chain; if authorization can be minimized, do so; contracts and vaults are better signed multiple times, slowly and carefully—slower, but I can sleep peacefully.
