Iranian parliament member Ali Reza Salimi stated that the Iranian parliament is about to approve a bill officially establishing Iran's management and sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz. He told the Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA) that the bill regarding "exercising Iran's management and sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz" is about to be passed and take effect. He said that the entire Strait of Hormuz is within the territorial waters of Iran and Oman, and only these two countries can decide how to manage the strait. (Sina Finance)
