Golden Finance reports that "On-Chain Detective" ZachXBT disclosed on his personal channel that stablecoin issuer Circle has blacklisted Zama's Confidential USDC (cUSDC) contract on Ethereum, resulting in approximately $12.6 million USDC being frozen within the contract. Currently, Circle and Zama have not publicly explained the specific reasons for this freezing operation. cUSDC is a privacy version of USDC launched by Zama based on Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) technology, aimed at achieving privacy protection for on-chain transaction amounts and account balances.
