Over the past two days, the liquidity of NFTs has really felt kind of cold. The floor price slides down just from a light shove—there are plenty of orders sitting there, but only a handful actually get filled. Royalties are also pretty awkward; to put it plainly, everyone wants to save that little bit of cost. But if there’s no royalty, then the royalty-driven community doesn’t have the money to tell stories or run events—once the narrative cools off, no one wants to be the one to buy in… and then it just becomes a loop.

For now, I can only give my strategy a few “patches”: chase less of the hot stuff, first check trading depth and the distribution of holdings; if you can avoid it, don’t touch it, and don’t treat interaction like it’s a belief.

By the way, recently, developers talking about modularity and DA layers have been going at it nonstop—I, as an end user, look completely lost. In the end, when it all lands in your wallet, it still comes down to this: can you sell it, and will you end up taking a loss?

Anyway, that’s where I’m at for now—slowly fixing it.
