Recently experimenting with AI agents interacting on the blockchain, I feel like they can press buttons for me, assemble transactions, monitor gas, and even automatically switch L2 networks, but when it comes to critical steps, humans still need to take the final responsibility: signing confirmations, authorization limits, contract address verification, slippage, and deadline settings. Once the agent "misunderstands," it directly deducts funds, unlike scripting errors that can be rolled back. And those big on-chain transfers or hot and cold wallets on exchanges being called smart money—agents are especially prone to emotional bias. Right now, I prefer to let it only do monitoring and alerts; I still manually click to place orders, anyway, better safe than sorry.
