Trump says if Iran does not reach a ceasefire or launch an attack

ME News reports, on April 18th (UTC+8), U.S. President Trump, while aboard "Air Force One" returning to Washington, stated that if a long-term agreement to end the war is not reached by April 22nd, he might terminate the ceasefire with Iran. "Maybe I won't extend the ceasefire, but the (Iranian port) blockade will continue to exist," Trump said. "So, the blockade remains, and unfortunately, we have to start dropping bombs again." Trump also stated on that day, "Iran will not have nuclear weapons." (Source: PANews)

The blockade continues without pause, bombs on standby at any moment, a familiar recipe of maximum pressure.

The red line for nuclear weapons is drawn here; the Iran nuclear deal is completely buried.

A ceasefire can be optional, but the blockade must remain; this account is calculated precisely.

Got it. The goal is to impose a blockade; a ceasefire is just leverage.
