After the KelpDAO attack, multiple protocols began migrating away from LayerZero.

ME News Report, May 16 (UTC+8), following the attack on KelpDAO which resulted in approximately $292 million in losses, industry focus on the security of cross-chain infrastructure continues to intensify. Currently, about $4 billion in assets have been completed or are in the process of migrating from LayerZero to Chainlink's cross-chain interoperability protocol CCIP. Among them, DeFi protocol Lombard has become the latest project to announce a migration. The protocol stated it will deprecate LayerZero and transfer over $1 billion in Bitcoin-backed assets to Chainlink CCIP. Lombard said this adjustment was prompted by a comprehensive review of its internal security system following the attack incident in April. (Source: ChainCatcher)
