📉 BTC Heading Into Month-End — Where Will It Close?
Bitcoin is looking shaky as May wraps up. After dropping below $76k, BTC is now trading around $75,854, down nearly 1.7% in the past 24 hours. The market is jittery, and short-term traders are debating whether this is a dead cat bounce setup or just the start of a deeper retracement.
From my view, several factors are influencing BTC right now:
Macro sentiment: Dollar strength and rising yields keep risk assets under pressure.
Technical levels: Support around $75k–$76k is holding, but if it breaks, we could see a retest of $73k.
Momentum players: Some whales are rebalancing ahead of month-end, which could trigger short-term volatility spikes.
My personal take: BTC might rebound slightly into the $77k–$78k range if macro sentiment eases, but a sustained rally looks difficult without a clear catalyst. This makes May’s close a very tight, range-bound battle between buyers and sellers.
For Method B participants: I’ve attached my trading screenshot showing my BTC scalping positions, along with annotations highlighting short-term support and resistance. My strategy is to scale into dips carefully and take profits near $77k, rather than chasing every move.
Where do you think BTC will actually close at the end of May — rebound above $77k, hold near $76k, or dip lower?
