Abstract generation in progress
ME AI News, Robinhood launches AI Agent feature, allowing users to delegate stock trading and credit card spending decisions to AI agents. Users can connect AI tools like Anthropic Claude, Cursor, and others to dedicated Robinhood accounts, enabling AI to automatically execute stock trades, manage portfolios, and handle spending tasks, while users retain control through spending limits, approval mechanisms, and real-time notifications. In payment scenarios, the AI Agent can use Robinhood Gold virtual credit cards to automatically search for discounts, book travel, and purchase tickets. Robinhood states that currently, this feature only supports stock trading, with plans to expand to options and cryptocurrency trading in the future. (Source: Foresight News)

Currently only stocks are supported; crypto users will have to wait a bit longer—it’s likely being held up by compliance, or otherwise being blocked.

Can Cursor also connect? Programmers are ecstatic—so in the future, when you write code, the AI will also adjust your positions/holdings.

With triple safeguards—limits, approvals, and notifications—the design is quite restrained rather than completely laissez-faire.

Wait, let AI automatically buy tickets? Wouldn't that make concert tickets even harder to get?

Robinhood's AI agent really knows how to play the game, handling all trading and spending with Claude—an easy win for lazy people.
