AI reasoning service provider Fireworks AI plans to conduct a new round of funding with a $15 billion valuation
Fireworks AI is in talks for a new funding round, aiming for a post-investment valuation of $15 billion, led by Index Ventures. The company was founded in 2022 by former Meta engineers, with CTO Dmytro Dzhulgakov, focusing on AI inference acceleration, computing power leasing, and inference APIs. The previous round in October last year raised $250 million, with a post-investment valuation of $400 million, with Cursor and others as core clients. Competitor Baseten is also raising $1 billion at an estimated post-investment valuation of about $11 billion.
