if I was 18 and broke today the first thing I would learn is how to grow X accounts for other people
you'll learn distribution, audience building, copywriting and how attention works
and people would pay a massive premium if you can do any of these well
one of the first paying gigs I ever got was growing someone elses X account
most of what I know about how to build a business came from years of doing this work for other people first
its easy to get into, but very hard to get good at a high level
here's how i'd do it:
- consume a lot of valuable content that you like
- learn copywriting from the greats ( Nicolas Cole, Dan Koe etc)
- start writing manually (dont use AI until you know what good vs bad looks like)
- start growing your X account in the process (content, replies, dms)
- expect to fail a lot and for nobody to notice you
- do this consistently for months
- once you scale your X considerably, start offering to do it for other others
- work only with people you like, pay you well and where you can learn from
- use this as a springboard to learn what you're good at, what you like and what you can make good money from
- leverage the connections, skills and people you've worked with in the process
