10k Prop Challenge Starting Record: No trades today, Score 2.4, Why I’m not in a hurry to prove myself

Yesterday I opened the FundingPips 10k challenge account #12287128, and today the backend screenshot has already been taken.
**Account Data (as of today):**
- Principal: $10k
- Current Balance / Equity: $10k / $10,000
- Today's Profit/Loss: $0.00
- Total Profit/Loss: To be added (just opened)
- Max Drawdown: 0 (Zero badge)
- Score: 2.4
- Other indicators (Consistency, Daily Return, Calmar Ratio, etc.): Radar chart shows currently in a lower position, specific values to be added
**Key trades today:**
No trades.
The account was just created, I didn’t open a single order today. It’s not that I can’t analyze, but I deliberately left the first day for “observation + familiarization with rules.” I need to understand the MT5 interface, the specific risk control terms of the prop firm, Reward Cycle Biweekly, etc.
My own discipline: **No trading in the first 3 days of a new account**.
**Lessons from review (reviewed right after opening):**
- The most important thing on the first day of a new account is not trading, but screenshotting and saving all the rules
- Score 2.4 is normal, just opened, so the indicators for Consistency and Daily Return are naturally low and need time to build up
- Live trading records should start from zero, with screenshots + logic for every trade, don’t leave yourself a “high probability” excuse
- Keep the Zero badge, the goal for the first week is not to make money, but to **not violate rules**
**Next step plan:**
Continue observing for the next 2-3 days. Wait until BTC/ETH shows a clear high-probability structure (key levels + volume confirmation) before considering small position testing. Keep single trade risk strictly within 1% of the account, get familiar with the platform first, then attack. No reckless trading just to get quick results.
