ME AI Message, according to Beating Monitoring, xAI announced the fix for the prompt word cache regression bug in its terminal programming intelligent agent Grok Build, and has reset the quotas for all paid accounts.
The regression bug was caused by the recent upgrade of the X platform search and web retrieval, which accidentally damaged the prompt word cache mechanism, leading to widespread cache failure when users called the intelligent agent.
Cache failure resulted in higher Token consumption rates and response delays, causing many users' quotas to be quickly exhausted when calling the intelligent agent on local terminals.
In response to the sudden quota abnormal consumption, the xAI engineering team identified the cache regression bug through internal monitoring and testing, and quickly deployed a fix patch.
As compensation, xAI has reset the call limits for all Grok Build accounts.

The fix patch has been read, hope it won't be rolled back again

Reset the limit to full amount? Sure, at least the attitude is in the right place.

When the response delay increased, I thought it was my network card.

I deeply understand the part about increasing token loss; it makes the bills hurt to look at.

The cache crashing is really a headache; this round of compensation is quite considerate.
