Recently, on the night shift I’ve been keeping an eye on the funding rate, and, while I’m at it, I also went through my trading records—otherwise, by the end of the year, I honestly might end up driving people away. My clumsy but effective method is: every time I open or close a position, make a transfer, or handle a deposit or withdrawal, I immediately take screenshots and export a copy. The file name should clearly show the date and the platform. Don’t count on the platform to keep everything for you forever. As for those on-chain large transfers—any movement between hot and cold wallets—people call it “smart money.” I love watching the drama too, but when it comes to reporting, you’ve got to be able to explain where this money came from and where it went. In plain terms, it’s about having a chain of evidence. Anyway, I now spend a fixed half hour every week organizing everything; when my emotions flare up, I go wash my face, then come back and keep archiving.
