I recently started looking for the best app to trade with little money because honestly I didn't have much capital to invest. I found these five options that people use quite a bit and decided to review each one.
MyTrade was the one that caught my attention the most at first. The interface is super clean, no unnecessary clutter. You can start with just $20 USD, which is accessible. It has integrated TradingView charts and allows you to trade stocks, forex, cryptocurrencies, all from one account. Ideal if you're just starting out and want something straightforward.
Then there's AvaTrade, which is more for people who already know what's up. Founded in 2006, it offers professional accounts with higher leverage. You can use MetaTrader 4 and 5 if you're one of those traders. The minimum deposit is $100 USD, and you have access to over 1,200 assets.
Plus500 is another one that sounds pretty good. It’s listed on the London Stock Exchange and has a huge selection of assets, over 2,800 CFDs. Recently, they added futures and prediction contracts. If you're looking for variety, this one is strong.
XM is the one with the highest leverage, up to 1000x. Since 2009, it’s been in the market and is for traders who already master MetaTrader. The minimum deposit is very low, only $5 USD.
eToro rounds out the list with its copy trading system. Launched in 2007, it’s the favorite of many beginners because you can automatically copy what experienced traders do. Minimum deposit of $50 USD.
The best app for trading really depends on who you are. If you're a beginner and want something simple, MyTrade wins easily. If you already have experience and want MetaTrader, AvaTrade or XM are your options. Plus500 if you want many assets. eToro if you want to follow other traders.
The key is that nowadays, the best app for trading isn't just for people with a lot of money. There are accessible options for everyone. That said, all of this involves risks, so practice on a demo first and don’t invest more than you can afford to lose.
