ME AI News. May 27 (UTC+8). AI model aggregation platform OpenRouter announced the completion of a $113 million Series B funding round. This round was led by CapitalG, the growth fund under Google’s parent company, with participation from a16z, Menlo Ventures, NVIDIA’s NVentures, as well as venture capital departments of ServiceNow, MongoDB, Snowflake, Databricks, and others. The company’s valuation is over $1 billion. OpenRouter said that over the past six months, the platform’s weekly call volume increased from 5 trillion tokens to 25 trillion tokens, reflecting that AI applications are accelerating from the trial phase into production environments.
