ME News message. On April 18 (UTC+8), the Odaily Seer forecaster channel monitored that Polymarket has launched a new event, “When will Powell step down as Federal Reserve Chair?” Currently, the highest probability is from June 6 to June 12 at 20%; the next highest probability is from May 30 to June 5 at 18%.

The event contract rules are as follows: the market will be settled based on the specified date range for Powell stepping down as Federal Reserve Chair. “Stepping down” means that Powell is no longer actually serving as Federal Reserve Chair. Announcements that Powell has resigned or has been dismissed do not independently qualify. The scheduled end of Powell’s term does not independently qualify either. If Powell continues to serve as Acting Chair (e.g., until the successor is confirmed), he will not be considered to have relinquished the Chair position. This market is limited to the period when Powell serves as Federal Reserve Chair. Powell’s status as a regular member of the Federal Reserve Board does not affect the settlement of this market. All dates are based on the U.S. Eastern Time zone.

The Odaily Seer forecaster channel will continue to follow prediction markets; before pricing, changes may be observed. (Source: ODAILY)

The gap between 18% and 20% isn't large, indicating that the market is also uncertain.

Is 20% considered high? It feels like the market is betting on big events in June.

Is simply resigning not enough? Then does Trump's tweet telling him to step down count?
