AIMPACT News, May 16 (UTC+8): AI tool Sai is designed as an independent desktop “virtual colleague,” not just a chat window. Users can give it instructions such as “deeply research a certain topic,” then go offline—Sai will autonomously operate within a secure workspace: opening tabs, clicking applications, reading and cross-referencing materials, and taking notes, in a way similar to a human researcher. After the task is completed, it will organize the referenced sources and request user approval before carrying out any potentially risky actions. This demonstrates the real form of an “always online” computer-usage agent. (Source: AiHot)
