Uniswap Phishing Scam Alert: $400K Drained Via Fake Google Ads

Scammers are running fake Uniswap ads on Google Search and have already drained over $400,000 from crypto wallets.

How The Scam Works:
➡️ Fake Uniswap ads appear at the top of Google Search (above real links)
➡️ Users click and land on a cloned Uniswap website
➡️ They connect their wallet and sign a malicious approval
➡️ Scammers drain funds instantly using smart contract permissions

On-Chain Proof:
On-chain analyst b-block flagged two attacker wallets currently holding 146 ETH (~$306K):
✅ 0x37925684BA178821b4436E06e67f5dBD6cfA49Bb
✅ 0x2fC25F46cC49D226eF92E9A7665f3d2821F3c5E2

This is part of a bigger trend. SEAL reported $1.27M stolen through Google search phishing between March 13–30 alone.

How To Stay Safe:
✅ Never click sponsored Google ads for crypto sites
✅ Bookmark official URLs
✅ Verify links via official X accounts or DeFiLlama
✅ Revoke suspicious wallet approvals using Revoke
✅ Use a hardware wallet for large holdings

CryptoPatel Insight: Modern phishing doesn't need your seed phrase. One wrong signature can wipe your entire portfolio. Always read transaction details before approving.

Stay alert. Stay safe. Protect your bags.
