i have a few friends who retired their parents young

they bought their families houses with crypto profits & set everyone up to live comfortably
they did what most people spend their whole life chasing
and then they got stuck
people talk about how you always move the goalpost, but dont mention the part where you hit the goal and suddenly feel lost
the thing that was pulling you forward for years is gone, and you realize you werent chasing the money, you were chasing the 'chase'
finding that fire is not easy
they're extremely talented and I know theyll figure it out, but theres a real period in between where they dont know what they want anymore because for the longest time the answer was always just "more"
most people assume freedom is the finish line, its actually the test
when nothing is forcing you to work, what you choose to do with your time is the only honest answer to who you actually are. most people fail this test because they never built a self outside the 'grind' & hustle culture
now they're on side quests, health maxxing, and businesses they actually want to build without the constraint of having to do it just for money
you can tell when someone has gained freedom when they start to do the things they want to and not because they have to
