AI Assistant Sai transforms into a virtual colleague, independently conducting in-depth research

Abstract generation in progress
AIMPACT News, May 16 (UTC+8), the AI tool Sai is designed as an independent desktop "virtual colleague" rather than just a chat window. Users can give commands such as "deeply research a topic" and then go offline; Sai will autonomously operate within a secure workspace: opening tabs, clicking applications, reading and cross-referencing materials, taking notes, functioning similarly to a human researcher. After completing the task, it will organize the sources and request user approval before executing any potentially risky operations. This demonstrates the practical form of an "always online" computer usage proxy. (Source: AiHot)

Opening tabs, cross-referencing... this process is more detailed than my advisor.

Request approval before potential risks; this design is more reassuring than full automation.

Even offline, you can run in-depth research, which is like installing a non-sleeping RA on your laptop.
