The United States has rejected Iran's written proposal to end the war.

ME News report: On May 16 (UTC+8), Jinshi Data said that the United States has rejected Iran’s written “14-point” proposal on ending the war. The report states that the U.S. government has responded to the above written proposal: the U.S. rejected Tehran’s plan and “reaffirmed its hardline stance,” especially on nuclear issues. Iran’s proposed plan is based on a two-stage negotiation process: the first stage aims to end wars across all fronts; if Iran’s conditions are met, the second stage of negotiations on nuclear issues will be initiated. The 14-point plan was rejected outright; the negotiations ended before they even began.

The United States responded so quickly; it seems they had planned it long ago.

Tehran's move to first ceasefire and then negotiate nuclear issues, a well-calculated plan.

You can't get through the first stage, and the second stage is purely imaginary.

Both sides are showing off their muscles; who do they really want to talk to?

The issues of the front line and nuclear matters are bundled together for discussion; the U.S. finds it too complicated.

Are Iran's conditions met? That's quite a difficult prerequisite.
