I've been looking for accessible trading platforms with little money for a while and found that there are several interesting options I didn't know about. The good news is that trading apps have evolved quite a bit, and now you can start with very low deposits.
MyTrade caught my attention because you can open an account with just $20. The interface is clean, without unnecessary clutter, and it has integrated TradingView charts. It's perfect if you're just starting because the spreads are tight and there are no execution fees. Plus, they offer $50,000 in demo funds to practice risk-free.
If you already have experience, AvaTrade offers MetaTrader 4 and 5, which are more powerful tools. The minimum deposit is $100, and it gives you access to over 1,200 different assets. There's also Plus500, which is publicly traded and has a huge selection of CFDs, with over 2,800 instruments.
XM is interesting because it allows very high leverage, up to 1000x, and offers options from micro accounts. The initial deposit is ridiculously low, only $5. If you prefer something more social, eToro has its copy trading system where you replicate trades from experienced traders with a minimum of $200 per trader you follow.
Honestly, choosing between these trading apps depends on your profile. If you're a beginner, Mitrade or eToro are the most accessible. If you're looking for more advanced tools, AvaTrade or XM are better. Plus500 stands out if you want access to futures and new markets.
Before investing real money, the important thing is to practice with the demo accounts that all of them offer. Each platform is regulated (ASIC, FCA, CySEC), so they are safe, but trading always involves risks. The key is to learn well, practice a lot, and be cautious with the amount you invest.
