AIMPACT News, May 16 (UTC+8), a 2026 report shows that the usage rate of generative AI by legal teams has surged from 44% to 87%. To cope with increasingly complex tasks, the legal industry is applying Claude to core processes such as contract review, M&A due diligence, and litigation preparation, and enhancing efficiency through a suite of products: Chat for instant research, Claude Cowork for cross-document collaboration, Microsoft 365 plugin integration for office suite, and Platform for custom application development. Anthropic also released a legal industry deployment guide, covering product matrix, 12 pre-set business domain plugins, and a three-phase implementation roadmap, along with addressing key issues such as data hosting and access control.
