Last night, I almost messed up a transfer... When the mainnet was live, the gas suddenly spiked, and I almost confirmed by mistake with a shaky hand, which was quite scary: spending a bit more money is okay, but the key is that during urgent times, it's easiest to select the wrong address/network. Later, I still played it safe and completed what needed to be done on L2 first, tried a small transfer, and then slowly consolidated back to the mainnet. To put it simply, my current compromise is: perform frequent operations on L2, and only use the mainnet as a "final archive," preferring to be slower rather than rushing when emotions are high. Recently, everyone has been explaining market rises and falls with ETF fund flows and U.S. stock risk appetite, which I find quite lively, but when it comes to paying gas, the experience and mindset are the most real... Anyway, I still prefer low-frequency dollar-cost averaging and minimal fuss, so that's how I'll stick to it for now.
