These days, I've seen a bunch of people discussing on-chain privacy again. My expectation is actually quite "simple": don't expect anonymity to mean exemption from responsibility. Frankly, privacy is more about preventing your daily transactions from being casually watched or easily profiled; as for compliance boundaries, when authorities want to investigate, the traces are all on the chain—it's mostly a matter of cost and effort.

I'm becoming more and more conservative in my interactions: the less trace I leave, the better. Separate addresses, regularly clear authorizations, don't connect a bunch of identity clues together. Whether you're a witch or not is another story; mainly, I don't want to end up turning myself into a business card someday.

I can understand why modular and DA layer narrative developers are excited, but ordinary users are really confused... I see complexity as the enemy. If there's a simple way to do things, I won't gamble on "advanced features." Anyway, if I miss out, I’ll just consider it paying tuition.
