Aluminum American Approaching Sale of New York State Smelting Plant Assets to NYDIG

ME News Report, April 18 (UTC+8), according to Bloomberg, Alcoa Corp., the American aluminum company, is close to reaching an agreement with Bitcoin mining company New York Digital Investment Group to sell its Massena East smelting plant assets in New York State, expected to be completed by mid-year. This transaction is part of its plan to dispose of idle industrial assets. As data centers' demand for power infrastructure increases, such industrial sites are attracting more attention.
