Stopping loss is really like a breakup: dragging it out without dealing with it, the more you look at it, the more uncomfortable it becomes, and you also have to pay "interest" (time and emotions).


I usually first revisit the original reason for placing the order: is the logic still there? Has the data changed?
If the answer is "yes, it has changed," then don't talk about feelings with yourself, just cut it off and be done, even a small loss is better than sinking deeper.
Recently, watching the economic collapse of blockchain games also feels very familiar—when inflation rises, studios fold, and coin prices slide, it spirals downward, the more I think "wait a bit longer for a rebound," the more it feels like giving a bad model a second life...
Anyway, I’d rather admit I was wrong early, keep some bullets for hedging, and avoid adding to my position until I start doubting my own life.
