🇺🇸🇮🇷 US - Iran move closer to 60-day ceasefire extension agreement

The US and Iran are reportedly moving closer to a temporary agreement to extend the ceasefire by an additional 60 days, reopen the Strait of Hormuz, and resume nuclear negotiations. The agreement has not yet been officially announced and may change at the last minute.
📌 During the 60 days, the Strait of Hormuz may be fully open to ships passing through, with no fees.
📌 Iran is expected to clear mines in the strait area, facilitating maritime traffic and oil flow to be restored.
📌 In return, the US may lift sanctions at Iranian ports and grant some sanctions exemptions, allowing Iran to resume oil sales.
📌 Iran will commit not to pursue nuclear weapons, continue negotiations on enriched uranium and highly enriched uranium stockpiles.
📌 Washington may also consider easing additional sanctions and releasing some of Iran’s frozen assets.
