ME News Report, April 18 (UTC+8), Iran's Tasnim News Agency, citing an informed source, reported that Iran has set three conditions for ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz: First, the passing ships must be commercial vessels, military ships are prohibited from passing, and the ships and cargo must not be related to hostile countries. Second, ships must pass through the route designated by Iran. Third, ship passage must be coordinated with the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy. The source also said that if the United States continues to enforce a maritime blockade, Iran will consider it a violation of the ceasefire agreement and will close the Strait of Hormuz. The ceasefire agreement has become worthless; the irreversibility of geopolitics is even more unchangeable than blockchain.

Designated routes + Revolutionary Guard coordination, isn't this the physical version of on-chain KYC?

In the three conditions, the power to define “hostile country” is in Iran’s hands—so they’ve fully played out the “do it your own way” approach, and they’ve got it figured out.

Iran's move is ruthless—merchant ships even need political vetting of ancestors? Marine insurance is going through the roof.

If this is an on-chain oracle, Iran would be the only node, maximizing centralization risk.
