Italian media: Changes in the current situation of passage through the Strait of Hormuz will depend on the United States' performance of commitments

ME News Report, May 24 (UTC+8), Iran Tasnim News Agency reported that Iran proposed that if an agreement is reached with the United States, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz will return to pre-war levels within 30 days. Iran will exercise sovereignty over the strait in various ways, with specific details yet to be announced. According to the memorandum of understanding, the maritime blockade must be fully lifted within 30 days; otherwise, the situation in the strait will remain unchanged. Any channel and navigation changes depend on whether the U.S. fulfills other commitments in the memorandum. (Source: MLion)
