These days, someone keeps urging me to cross-chain "faster," but I’m just pretending to be dead for a while... Honestly, bridges are like a few people holding keys, multi-signature setups are like reporting numbers with your mouth, and oracles are like reporting data verbally—any hiccup on either side could get you stuck halfway.
Once I confirm it’s not just hesitation, it’s to give you time to see clearly: whether the signatures have been swapped, whether the price feeds are drifting, whether the chain is acting up. Especially before and after major chain upgrades/maintenance, the group is guessing whether projects will migrate; I’m actually less eager to put assets on the bridge, letting others test the waters first.
What I don’t regret is... every time I want to save those few minutes of confirmation, I end up holding back, being more diligent with my hands, and feeling more at ease.
Anyway, bridges can keep you warm and also burn your hands; taking it slow isn’t shameful.
