These days, I see new chains doing incentive programs to boost TVL, everyone rushing while complaining "mining and selling"... I’m not in a hurry anyway, just keeping an eye on whether the oracle feed is stable. Once the feed is delayed, you think your position is pretty safe, but in reality, on-chain prices lag behind, and when the update hits, it can directly break the liquidation threshold, with slippage + penalties hitting you together, which is quite costly. Especially during high volatility, the exchange side has already pulled back, but on-chain prices are still stuck at the old price, and liquidators won’t reason with you. My simple method is to use small leverage, occasionally check the feed update frequency and sudden price jumps, if the signals are messy, just withdraw, taking a slower entry isn’t a big deal.
